IV and IM Infusions
What is the difference between IV/IM vitamin infusions and oral supplements?
- IV and IM infusions: Deliver nutrients directly into the bloodstream or muscle, ensuring higher absorption rates (up to 100%) and faster effects.
- Oral supplements: Must pass through the digestive system, leading to lower absorption rates (typically 20–50%) and slower onset of effects.
IV and IM methods are ideal for rapid replenishment or when digestive absorption is compromised. Oral supplements are convenient for daily maintenance and general health support.
Are there any contraindications for receiving IV vitamin therapy?
Certain individuals should not receive IV vitamin therapy, including
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women
Individuals with kidney or heart conditions - Those with allergies to any of the ingredients in the infusion
- Individuals taking medications that may interfere with the infusion components
It’s important to consult with a healthcare provider to determine if IV therapy is suitable for you.
How many sessions do I need to take?

However, some individuals may benefit from weekly sessions, especially if addressing specific deficiencies or health concerns.
It’s important to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the most suitable schedule for your situation.
